First off, to let you know about my set-up: this is the only lights inside my 360. I have a clear case on my 360 with everything else stock.
The LEDs do not illuminate as expected, most of the fan gaurd is still clear since LEDs are only the bottom. The only time I can really enjoy the lights is at night, with my TV is off (pointless time, since I can’t play 360 with my tv off
)
The item is not very well made (no offense talismoon) It’s flimsy, poorly illuminated, and leaves a gap between the plastic and heatsink that was not previously there with the stock fan guard.
I do not recommend unless you have a clear case. Even with a clear case, I probably wouldn’t recommend to anyone.
This product looks great especially when combined with a whisper fan and other lighted products. The only bad thing about these is the wiring is a bit delicate. I was hooking mine up and putting it in place and the connector got caught on something and ripped out. I was able to MacGuyver a new connection with some of the computer parts I have kept over the years. I would just warn that you are very careful with the installation.
