My 9 yr old daughter wanted to get a mat for the wii. we put the foam puzzle frame inside and had trouble with the foam not lying flat enough. It worked better without it, just lying flat on the carpet. Otherwise, works well.
I have purchased this item twice now, based on the wonderful reviews I have read here, however
I have yet to even try it out!
The first one I bought had to be returned because the mat, which comes in 6 puzzle shaped pieces, had duplicate #5 pieces and no piece #6, so I couldn’t even put it together!
The replacement arrived in two days, and the pieces were all there and fit together! YAY! However, the cheap plastic zippers that zip the mat into the arrow pad were off their zipper track and could not be zipped closed.
Mat #2 is also being returned, yet unused!
Maybe the 3rd time is a charm? I will let you know once I get the next replacement…
If you’re buying this product make sure you buy four. They’re awesome and WAY more comfortable than the one that comes with the game. The fact that it’s wireless and also sensitive is a nice addition.

I have had this dance pad a couple weeks now and it is great! It is not wimpy at all and is very sensitive to your movements. You don’t have to be exactly on the arrow for it to pick up your move. The thick foam makes it more comfortable to use than those thin flimsy ones. The wireless ability is great, too. No cords to trip over or get tangled up. And you can be further from the tv if you need to be. I would definately recommend this dance pad!
this game is a lot of fun, and a great workout! I bought this for my girlfriend and she loves it. It has an aerobics mode on it as well as all the different dancing levels. Getting this dance mat with it is definately worth it. It isn’t a thin mat that you are expecting. You put foam squares in the mat to make it thicker, making it more comfortable to dance on and it holds the mat in the place you want it — no accidents from the mat slipping out from under you. I would definately recommend this product.
