The Magnum Gun is not very user friendly. You must first remove the arm strap and or any cover you may have on your controller.
This is great for our WII and since we love to hunt it is a great way to do it..
My son and I love this gun. We have hours of fun with it. No complaints at all.
I think this gun was not well designed. It has a critical mistake because you can not insert Wii remote control without taking strap out, so Can you imagine you have to remove strap every time you want to use it? and then, put it back to be able to tie it up to your hand? Unbelievable! and also, pulling trigger has a very long gap between movement, while you start shooting to the real press of bottom B. So shooting is slower than using remote control alone. If you have enough patience and want to deal with this, buy it.
This gun is a nice product with the only flaw being you have to pull the trigger back very far to fire. That’s pretty good in comparison to the other wii attachments that exist currently. However, this gun does not work with Call of Duty 3, wich is the only reason I bought it.
I ordered this item for my son to use with Call of Duty 3 becuase it looked sleek, it got fairly good reviews, and it was cheap. When it first came and we tried it out, it seemed all right but as the game progressed we realized how difficult it was to play with. In Call of Duty 3 you have to push buttons on the top of the remote such as the “A” button and the “+” and “-” buttons. This is pretty much impossible to do while holding the nunchuck in one hand and the gun in the other.
Overall, an OK product but if you are buying this for Call of Duty or any other game that requires you to use the top half of the wii remote, don’t waste your money.
