Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Heroes 2: The Phantom Fortress

THE gameplay is good its like UN3
the graphics are good for a PSP
the storyline is very good too
8/10
I find that the storyline in this Naruto game is actually pretty intriguing and plays out like a Naruto anime episode or even a movie. Some of the games are pretty difficult, The tree climbing is extremely hard to get an A, but the other mini games are fun. The characters and their upgrades like demon wind shurikens and poison bombs are useful in battle and everyone seems to have their signature ultimate jutsu and one or two other surprises. The only complaint that I have is the use of Kisame and Itachi, too brief and a little cheesy. Throw the third Hokage into that mix as well. I love the controls and the PSP graphics are excellent. I actually wonder why I waited so long to buy one. This game is longer than God of War so it keeps you busy, even though the mini games do get a little repetitive after a while. I highly recommend this game. Its a lot of fun!
Its fun, and keeps you entertained for about 20-30 hours of gameplay if you play conservatively(can get infinite hours of use is you have a buddy with a psp). But i was disappointed with the way the game was setup, like the menu system, and the way characters are unlocked. The actual fighting wasn’t too bad, very simple, but it was kind of lame that all of the moves and special moves for all of the characters are all the same button combo. Overall, I would rent it for some fun or buy it used, I don’t think its worth paying $40 for a new one.
Now with the second installment to Ultimate Ninja Heroes on the PSP, Ultimate Ninja Heroes 2: Phantom Fortress has more ninja punch then the last! We see for the first time a new RPG type mode that let’s you travel through different missions on 100 floors of the phantom fortress. You can equip your characters with skills and items as you travel through the different levels. There are secret techniques just like Ultimate Ninja Heroes but the Mugenjo Mode is the newest addition to this hardcore fighting game. As you travel through this mode you’ll be able to use different scrolls to help play out the story. Earning Ninja points too along the way will help with being able to unlock special features like art and songs. The game also features a multiplayer wireless mode. The Phantom Fortress is a worthwhile game and brings back to the PSP your favorite yellow haired ninja in all the fighting game environment action. If you’re a fan of Naruto games or fighting games in general this one is a must have!
This was a good game. It added onto the previous game in the series by increasing the playable character count. It has the same features as the last game (except no increasing of specific character abilities) plus two adventure modes. The first is a new story made exclusively for the PSP game and revolves around Naruto and the other genin. The second is an alternate version of the first story in which you play as Jiraiya, Tsunade, Shizune, and Kakashi. The game is a must-have for Naruto fans, period; but if you are looking for a great game overall you might get bored with this. It gets repetative and most characters are basically the same. So buy it…or don’t.
